From Fengtai district in Beijing to Shacheng town in North Chin's Hebei province, the Fengtai-Shacheng Railway has a length of 121 kilometers.
The railway, open to traffic in June 1955, is a main channel for the outward transport of the coal in North China's Shanxi province.
