Eight Chinese medical workers who treated patients suffering from the deadly Ebola virus have been placed in quarantine in Sierra Leone, People’s Daily tweeted, citing AFP.

Six Chinese doctors and one nurse who treated an Ebola patient at the Jui Hospital who later died of the virus have been quarantined for the past two weeks under observation, AFP quoted Chinese ambassador Zhao Yanbo as saying.

Another Chinese doctor in contact with an Ebola patient was also quarantined at the Kingharman Road Hospital, Zhao added.
