6. Do not get obsessed with working out

The main difference between healthy exercise habits and people who are exercise-dependent is how activity fits into their life. You may not spend hours at the gym as you put workouts ahead of friends, homework and other responsibilities. Training addiction can lead to many undesirable health effects like injury, dehydration or electrolyte imbalance and even trigger personality changes making you uncharacteristically irritable, agitated or verbally offensive. Therefore, when you are exhausted, your body is telling you to slow down - and you should listen.
