BEIJING -- Chinese prosecutors have filed separate lawsuits against three senior officials suspected of graft, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced Wednesday.

Xu Gang, former vice governor of Fujian province in East China, is charged with taking advantage of his positions to seek benefits for others and accepting a "huge amount" of bribes.

Xu Jianyi, former party chief and chairman of major Chinese automaker FAW Group, is accused of taking advantage of his positions to seek profits for others as well as accepting bribes.

Liao Yongyuan, former general manager with China National Petroleum Corp, is charged with accepting a "huge amount" in bribes and seeking profits for others.

Liao's property and expenditure obviously exceeded his legal income, and he could not explain the source of the money. He is also accused of holding a large amount of property with unidentified sources.
