More than 300 pieces of porcelain produced by the French Sèvres factory between 1740 and 2016 have come a long way to the Xi'an Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts, in Shaanxi province. The luxury and pure porcelain, with unique shapes and delicate colors, amazed visitors. One of the exhibits, titled "Chinese Emperor Qianlong", was made in accordance with a water painting drawn by an Italian missionary in 1775 for the Qing Dynasty's Qianlong emperor, and was given to the emperor later.

Established in 1740, the Sèvres factory in France was a royal enterprise and well-known porcelain manufacturer, just like Jingdezhen porcelain in China. Sèvres porcelain was used by French emperors as national presents in diplomatic affairs.

The exhibition, as one of events during the 8th Western China Cultural Industries Expo, will run until September 20.
