Parts of Yongle Encyclopedia, a Chinese compilation of information commissioned by Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Emperor Yongle in 1403, is on display at the National Library on Dec 11, 2013. From Dec 11 to 25, the National Library will display 110 of 1,516 ancient Chinese books in the fourth batch of national rare ancient books list, which was released by the State Council in April.
