Parts of Elements of Geometry, the Chinese version of Euclid's Elements translated by Italian Jesuit priest Matteo Ricci and Chinese national Xu Guangqi in 1607, is on display at the National Library on Dec 11, 2013. Qing Dynasty (1636-1911) Emperor Kangxi signed and revised it. From Dec 11 to 25, the National Library will display 110 out of 1,516 ancient Chinese books listed in the fourth batch of national rare ancient books list, which was released by the State Council in April, 2013.
