Since the end of December 2012, the county government has launched a program to deploy its more than 40 newly-recruited civil servants to the downtown streets working as cleaners for a week. Each couple of civil servants will work with a professional cleaner in charge of a cleaning job covering an area of between 5,000 and 6,000 square meters. The move is aimed at increasing the young civil servants’ understanding of grassroots people. [Photo/Xinhua]
