China's foreign trade surplus rose 24.7 percent to 382 billion yuan ($58 billion) in December, the General Administration of Customs announced on Wednesday.
Its exports increased 2.3 percent to 1.43 trillion yuan and imports dropped 4 percent to 1.05 trillion yuan in that month.
The total goods trade reached 24.59 trillion yuan in 2015, falling 7 percent from the previous year.
