Subaru China recalled up to 3,040 imported Forester starting July 28 due to flaws with engine control setting. The vehicles were produced between Nov 6, 2012 and April 18, 2014. The flaw could cause abnormal shaking of vehicle body and engine failure, posing risks to safety.
The Japanese car maker recalled 138,541 imported Forester in the Chinese mainland starting from Aug 10, due to flaws in brake hose. The SUVs were manufactured from Dec 20, 2007, to Sept 20, 2012.
