First Ebola case reported in U.S.: CDC

WASHINGTON - The first case of Ebola has been confirmed in the United States, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Tuesday.

The U.S. agency said in a statement that it will host a media briefing on the Ebola case at 5:30 p.m. EDT (2130 GMT).
