ISLAMABAD - A 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit South and Southwest Pakistan on Saturday afternoon, local media quoted the country's meteorological officials as saying.
Tauseef Ahmad, an official with the local meteorological department, confirmed that a 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit South and Southwest Pakistan at about 12:34 pm local time.
The epicenter is located at 104 km northeast of Awaran, a district in southwest Pakistan's Balochistan province, which was hit by a 7.7-magnitude quake on Tuesday afternoon.
