Morsi ordered in custody over spying charges

CAIRO - Egypt's ousted Islamist-oriented President Mohamed Morsi was ordered into custody for 15 days over spying and jailbreak charges, state-run MENA news agency reported Friday.

Charges against Morsi includes spying for the Palestinian Islamic Hamas movement, attacking police institutions, breaking into prisons and setting fire to Wadi Natrun jail, where he was held at the time of the outbreak of the turmoil in early 2011, according to MENA.
