The Monkey King

In 1900, a student called Lee returns to Beijing as China is in the throes of the Boxer Rebellion. One of his friends is killed by Marquis Charles, an infamous French commander and Lee secretly joins the "Boxers", a mysterious organization aimed at fighting against foreign forces and Christianity, disguising himself with the identity of the "Monkey King". Finally, in the battle against imperialist powers, Lee defeats Marquis Charles. Now, the "Boxers" begin to make preparations for the next battle against foreign invaders under a new leader: the classic character from Beijing opera, the "Monkey King". And he is Lee.

The Panjiayuan Diary

Juliet Manning is a rather complicated girl. The fact that her parents are going to divorce is a heavy blow to Juliet, while the news that she would move to Beijing overwhelms her to the point of losing hope. After coming to China, Juliet begins her adventures in Chaoyang district on her own. One day, she visits an antique market called "Panjiayuan", where she buys a dusty Chinese diary from an old merchant. With the help of this diary, she reevaluates herself and finally finds the thing that has always been lacking in her life, her own voice.
