A Dubai official said he expects more capital and technology exchange with China in the future.

Hani Rashid Al Hamli, the secretary-general of the Dubai Economic Council, said he hopes China will participate in the construction of Dubai’s infrastructure and new energy.

Since recovering from the financial crisis in 2009, Dubai has once again become one of the preferred destinations for investment. A growing number of people, especially Chinese, have chosen to visit Dubai for both tours and business.

Al Hamli made the comments in an interview with China Daily on the sidelines of the Fortune Global Forum in Chengdu, Sichuan.
