Queenie Kwok Fong began studying pipa and piano at a very young age and later attended the Central Conservatory of Music.

She moved to Hong Kong in 1995 and since then has become an experienced music and language teacher. Under her instruction, many of her students have won awards in the inter-school music competition.

In 2000, she joined as a guest instructor in the Mandarin workshops at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has become a Mandarin instructor at the school’s Language Centre since 2008.

Queenie met her husband via the Internet. They founded a music and language institute together and have created an innovative way to teach Mandarin by integrating traditional Chinese culture and music into the language learning process.
