China Union Pay joins hands with CTS

On Dec 28, China Union Pay and China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the Diaoyutai State Guest House, Beijing. The two parties aim to provide a better experience for tourists through resources sharing and cooperation. Su Ning, board chairman of China Union Pay, and Zhang Xuewu, board chairman of CTS, attended the contract signing ceremony. The executive vice president of China Union Pay Cai Jianbo and the vice president of CTS Xu Hanmu signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.

With tourism as its main business, CTS is a comprehensive corporation, covering travel agencies, hotels, tourist sites, e-banking and more. The cooperation between China Union Pay and CTS will entail an integration of resources between the two sides in terms of brand, product, channels and Internet capabilities. Specifically speaking, this cooperation will involve the promotion of Union Pay cards in China and abroad, the release of tourism payment products, the perfection of Union Pay cards' user experience, as well as rolling out the innovative payment methods via Internet. The collaborative efforts between China Union Pay and CTS will enhance tourists' card holding experience.
