Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain poses in his festive woolly ahead of Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day on Friday. Arsenal players support Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, London Dec 2013. Arsenal players are so excited about Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day (13th December) that they have pulled out their best woolly jumpers early and even learnt how to play with a knitted football for the occasion. On Friday 13th December Save the Children is calling on people across the UK to help make the world better with a sweater and take part in the tradition of wearing a kitsch Christmas jumper in exchange for a GBP 1 donation to raise money for its life saving work with children the world over. Arsenal's partnership with Save the Children is helping the poorest children to get a better start in life and giving them the chance to grow and fulfill their potential. On Sunday (8th December), Arsenal dedicated its Premier League match versus Everton to The Arsenal Foundation, which supports a range of education projects in the UK and overseas, including those of its global charity partner, Save the Children.
