Kobe Bryant of Los Angeles Lakers has the highest net worth in the NBA, according to Wealth-X.com, a wealth intelligence firm.
Bryant's total net worth is estimated at $220 million, bolstered by endorsement deals with "Nike, Coca-Cola, Turkish Airlines, Mercedes-Benz, Lenovo, Panini and Hublot," the website said.
Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics (until he's dealt next week to the Brooklyn Nets) came in second, with a net worth of $190 million. Garnett was drafted in 1995, Bryant in 1996.
LeBron James was next at $130 million, the only player drafted this century (2003) to make the top five.
Tim Duncan (1997) and Ray Allen (1996) tied at fourth and fifth, at $100 million each.
Bryant will be the league's highest-paid player next season, at $30.5 million. Although he has hinted at retirement over the past year, the Lakers' guard said he recently reconsidered and may look to play another few seasons.
