LONDON - China's Li Na said on Tuesday that she has achieved her target at the Wimbledon Championships despite losing to fourth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in the quarterfinals.

Li, the 2011 French Open champion, was beaten 6-7 (5), 6-4, 2-6 in a match on the Center Court between two highest-ranked players left in this year's Championships.

"I have finished coach Carlos' assignment," she said. "I have tried my best and I don't think there is any regret."

The 31-year-old Chinese, who led Radwanska 6-4 in their previous meetings, has never entered semifinals since her debut in 2006.  She had previously reached quarterfinals twice, in 2006 and 2010.

The match was interrupted by train twice and the roof was closed eventually. She said that she was satisfied with the performance during the whole tournament.

"It was really pretty good, at least better than the last two years," she said. "I also proved so many things on the court."

She said Carlos has asked to come to the net, the tactics that she rarely used in the past.  Statistics showed that she came to the net 71 times during the match.

"Maybe today I came to the net much more than my whole life," she said.

The 31-year-old said she will play her next tournament at Toronto in four weeks, but she will not watch Wimbledon again this week.

"I will get out of here as soon as possible," she said. "It's very tough after you lose a match and still pay attention to the tournament. I always leave after it."
