The Beijing Sand Sculpture Festival is in the last phase of preparation and will to be open in mid-August.
The artworks to be displayed are made by Zhang Weikang and Zhang Yongkang, a pair of Chinese brothers who showed their works at the Yokohama Sand Art Exhibition and won broad praise. The Beijing festival will feature sculptures based on sea games, Chinese Zodiac and constellation.
The exhibition will be held in Tongzhou Canal Park and last for two months.
