Ancient Guangzhou: Guangzhou has a long history and culture. For thousands of years, it has been one of China's main trading ports and was the starting point of the "Maritime Silk Road". Nowadays, many people around the world come here to study, work and so on.
On Shamian Island there are more than 150 European style architectures buildings. The architectural styles run the gamut from New Baroque to pseudo-gothic and Neoclassical. The buildings on Shamian Island are very exotic and I love to stroll along Shamian Dajie to take it in.
Litchi Bay lies in the west of Guangzhou in Liwan District. It's very classical and retains local characteristics. I think it's awesome and enjoyable, especially at night. It's one if the most charming places in Guangzhou and it attracts many people to visit.
Modern Guangzhou:
I like the 107 and 108 floors of the Guangzhou tower. They have two sightseeing halls, which are cloudy and starry themed respectively. Tourists have a bird`s-eye view of the beautiful scenery of Canton New City and Pearl River. It`s amazing and exciting.
