2016 Shanghai Biennale unveiled in E China

The 11th Shanghai Biennale began on Saturday and will be open until March 12.

Themed "Why Not Ask Again? Arguments, Counter-arguments and Stories", the Shanghai event emphasizes "the possibilities of South-South dialogue within the current scenario of a highly interconnected world", according to the event planer

It seeks to present artistic and different visions that go beyond and challenge the conventional division of the world between "East" and "West".

Sections including "Terminals", "Intra-Curatorial Platform", "Theory Opera", and "51 Personae" folded within the biennale will help present the exhibition to audiences.

"Terminals" are an important feature, providing points of connection and amplification for the exhibition.
