A seal bearing the inscription "Revere Heaven and Serve thy People", carved for the Kangxi Emperor, is introduced by Sotheby's Asia Deputy Chairman Nicholas Chow at a preview ahead of its April 6 auction in Hong Kong, China, March 14, 2016. The seal will be auctioned with a starting price of HK$50 million ($6.4 million). The seal was carved for the Kangxi Emperor who ruled for 61 years from 1661 to 1722, China's longest reigning monarch, during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). [Photo/Agencies] |
