Movado launches watch range

Swiss watch brand Movado launched its new Movado Edge collection in Beijing earlier this month. Created in collaboration with renowned industrial designer Yves Behar, the collection is a re-creation of the brand's classic Museum Dial designed in 1947 by Nathan George Horwitt. The new collection highlights three-dimensional design that can be matched with leather or stainless-steel straps.

TAG Heuer backs Mars program

Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer has become a supporter of China's Mars Exploration Program, with the announcement that it will be a partner of the program's logo design contest at an event in Beijing on Tuesday. The event also saw the unveiling of the exterior design of China's first Mars rover. A long supporter of the space industry, TAG Heuer was the first Swiss watchmaker in space, with American astronaut John Glenn in 1962.
