Time-tripping steam train in SW China

Although boasting the world's longest and most modern high-speed rail system with over 19,000 km of track, China is also home to the world's last running narrow-gauge passenger steam train service.

Constructed in 1958, the Jiayang Railway was built to haul coal along about a 13-mile track using steam engines built in the 1950s. The same engines are still in use.
