Quake delays trains in Fujian
The 6.7-magnitude earthquake will delay some trains in the southeastern part on the mainland, as workers check for damage to a local railway.
Tremors were felt along a line connecting the cities of Xiamen and Fuzhou in Fujian province that neighbors Taiwan. The line forms part of the Hangzhou-Shenzhen railway.
The China Railway Corporation said workers have launched an emergency response to examine the railway section.
It did not disclose if any damage had been caused to the railway.
Besides, the Red Cross Society of China provided 2 million yuan ($304,400) to relief work.
