BEIJING - The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has urged prosecuting organs nationwide to strengthen internal supervision and punish those using professional influence to obstruct case management.

In a regulation released on Tuesday, the SPP stressed that inferior organs have the duty to report to prosecuting disciplinary groups if they find unrelated prosecuting workers asking about the details of a case, witness, whistleblower and law enforcer.

Other occasions to be flagged include arranging private meetings between involved parties and case handlers, inquiring after investigating methods, forcing private opinions on a case or pressuring insiders by any means.

The SPP noted that prosecuting workers who have knowledge about above mentioned acts but fail to report will be "criticized and educated," and those disturbing the management of a case will be named and shamed or transferred to other positions.
