Political adviser expelled from Party

A senior official of China's top political advisory body was expelled from the Communist Party of China and removed from public office, China Central Television reported on Friday.

Yang Gang, former deputy director of the economic commission under the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was under investigation for corruption, bribes and adultery, according to the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Ministry of Supervision.
