Group dancing, or guangchangwu, is a favorite pastime for middle-aged and retired women in China who find it a good way to keep fit and socialize. However, it's also seen as a nuisance by nearby residents exposed to amplified music blaring out to accompany the choreographed dancing on a nightly basis.
