Large Medium SmallA fire that engulfed two apartments in a residential building in Jinan, Shandong province, claimed three lives and caused the evacuation of more than 300 residents on Wednesday early morning, Chinanews.com reported.
The fire broke out at 1:14 am. One person was killed by the fire and two victims died after they fell trying to escape from the building, according to the report.
The fire was brought under control and an investigation has been launched.
