A two-story house in Watang village, Shaoyang city, Central China's Hunan province, was hit by parts from the Long March-3B carrier rocket, eight minutes after the rocket carrying Chang'e-3 lunar probe blast off from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan province, on Dec 2. The debris went through the roof, and four pillars ruptured, but no one was injured. The house owner was compensated 10,800 yuan ($1,772) from the local and central governments. Another villager whose house was damaged by the debris received 5,200 yuan in compensation. [Photo/icpress.cn]
