A grand Buddha-greeting assembly is held at Gedan Songzanlin Lamasery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Southwest China's Yunnan province, March 8, 2012. The Buddha-greeting Festival falls on the 15th day of the first month according to traditional Tibetan calendar. Built in 1679, Songzanlin Temple is called "Little Potala Palace" due to its having the same style as Potala Palace in Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet autonomous region.
