Reflection on 'East meets West' Culture

The creation of culture comes from the combination of hard and soft environments. Based on each school campus' setting tasks and their featured curricula, Xiehe faculty and staff continuously create a school environment featuring a more harmonious and international standard.

The hard environment: Xiehe pays much attention to campus construction and area segmentation. Each area has a clear function and specific use, including open and sharing spaces as well as an independent operational area. In addition, we emphasize every detail during the decoration, making it more flexible and creative.

The soft environment: this is an important element in creating the cultural environment. In the Xiehe family, the management system has been developed into a horizontal organization - it is very convenient for teachers, parents and students to communicate with each other. We also encourage different campuses, departments, principals and teachers to interact with each other and to seek opportunities for improvement.
