Women farmers in a rural town in Dexing city, East China's Jiangxi province, produce umbrellas for export.
The average annual output can reach more than two million units, and most of the umbrellas they make are exported to the countries in Southeast Asia.
More than 500 women farmers are engaged in the umbrella processing work, and most of them are left-behind women, whose husbands are away working in big cities.
The local work helps them not only to earn extra money, but also helps them take care of their families at the same time.
