Master Si Fa is one of the warrior monks who practice Chinese Kung fu, such as iron palm, head-butt, and stick-fighting, at Wanshou Temple in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province.
Like the other monks, Master Si Fa also lives a regular life. He gets up at 5 am and goes to bed at 9 pm, practicing Kung fu seven hours a day and eating only vegetarian food.
He says the aim of Wushu, or Chinese martialarts, practice is not to bully the weak or show off, but to improve physical fitness and comprehend the philosophy of life.
