"Chuangke" or "creatives" are a group of people setting up businesses with fresh ideas, knowledge and technology. These people are willing to "innovate, practice and share" and also have the courage to realize their dreams.
The word is spreading fast in China as "Chuangke" appeared in Premier Li Keqiang's government work report this year.
Here are some "Chuangke" who are driven by passion to make their dreams or ideas come true.
Yang Yawen, a "Chuangke", works in an IT (information technology) company in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province. Her team developed an alarm clock app for smart phones in 2013. People have to shake the cell phone, or solve a mathematical problem to stop the app, which forces people to wake up. Since the initial release the app has been downloaded over 260,000 times.
