Firefighters assisted by local helpers pull a buffalo from a well in Cangnan county, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 8, 2012. The team heaved the buffalo, weighing more than 200 kilograms, to safety after it fell into a dry well while eating grass on a hill. Owner Wang asked the local fire department for help and after an hour, fire-fighters and locals pulled the buffalo out of the well by binding its body with two ropes. [Lv Jian/Asianewsphoto] |
