London-based gallery Timothy Taylor, who announced its representation of first Chinese artist Ding Yi earlier this year, will participate in its first art fair in China, the West Bund Art and Design Expo held from Nov 9 to 13 in Shanghai.

It will show artworks of both established artists, including Alex Katz and Sean Scully and younger-generation artists including Eddie Martinez and Armen Eloyan.

During the event, the gallery will also hold a large scale exhibition of Katz, a pioneer of pop art.

The gallery expands to the Chinese art market feeling the potential of Chinese artists on a global stage and as well the rising interest in Western art of China's nouveau-rich collectors.
