BEIJING - China's top legislature on Thursday confirmed that three lawmakers have been dismissed from their posts as National People's Congress (NPC) deputies while another one has resigned.

In addition, Liang Yaohui, board chairman of Energy China Group was also stripped of his membership of the 12th NPC over "suspected criminal offences" on April 14, announced the NPC Standing Committee.

Another NPC deputy, Wang Chuncheng, has meanwhile resigned, according to the announcement.
