As a professional dog trainer, taking care of all kinds of dogs and bonding with them are Zhang Zehui's work, also his everyday life.

Zhang, a post-80s dog trainer, lives in Shijiazhuang city, capital of North China's Hebei province. He rented a one-hundred-square-meter farmhouse in the suburb of Shijiazhuang to train the animals become more friendly and less harmful to the owners.

All the dogs that are sent to Zhang's farmhouse are pet animals, but with some bad habits like hurting people, biting the furniture or owners' shoes.

He usually trains four to five dogs at one time, and sometimes the number can reach 10 or more. He said the key to train dogs is to punish them for bad habits and award them for good behavior.

Many admire his job and have tried to learn the skills from him, but few continue to engage in this career.

Training dogs is about repeating one thing every day, and dog trainers should have love for dogs and the patience to get along with them, said Zhang.
