Three killed after truck crashes into Walmart in US Iowa

CHICAGO -- Three people were killed on Thursday as a pickup truck crashed into a Walmart store in Midwest U.S. state of Iowa, local media Fox News reported.

The Iowa State Patrol said the truck drove through the front door of Walmart, killing three and injuring two others.

The driver of the pickup truck is one of the two injured who were transported to hospital.

The store was closed after the crash and people were being asked to avoid the area.

The police were now investigating the cause of the crash.
