Northwestern University turns 115

Faculty, students and alumni gathered at the Chang'an campus of Northwestern University to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the institution in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Oct 15.
Party secretary of Northwestern University Wang Yajie and the Xi'an municipal government
praised the university for its achievements.
Zhang Qizhi, the honorary president of the school, urged the students to work hard to achieve their dreams.
The university, founded in 1902, currently has a total of 28,000 students and teachers.
