Milan Fashion Week is not just about Gucci, Fendi and Prada.
According to the calendar that Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) released, four Chinese designer brands are to present their latest collections during the Milano Moda Donna Spring Summer 2018 show.
Eyeball-catching big names in fashion realm, such as Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Fendi, Prada and Moschino are showing their latest creations for the upcoming seasons.
And fresh blood remains the key part to drive the Milan fashion renaissance to compete with New York and London as a hub for emerging talent.

Angel Chen, who made her debut with the eponymous label in last Autumn/Winter 2017 show in this fashion capital with the support of Mercedez-Benz, is to be present by CNMI this time.
This Shanghai-based Central Saint Martins graduate openly admitted that Milan has a more mature market and encouraging environment for young designers, according to Business of Fashion's report.
Explaining this, she recalled her experience visiting Milano Unica, a fabric convention not unlike Première Vision in Paris, "I was there for three days, many of them have been working with big brands and they were very open minded. I showed them my work and they are happy to collaborate with me. It’s very different to when I was in Paris a few years ago and at Première Vision – people treat the Asian customers as copycats.”
The other Chinese brands about to bring new energy and creativity to this international fashion platform are ANNAKIKI by Yang Zi, Ricostru by Ou Minjie and Tommy Zhong co-founded by Zhong Jiaqi and Jenny Nelson.
Milan Fashion Week, held in the northwestern Italian city, is considered one of the biggest events of its kind in the world, alongside London, New York and Paris fashion weeks. This year, it is expected to wow the world from September 20 to 25, right after the other two events.
