Culture Minister Luo meets foreign counterparts at 2nd Silk Road Inter'l Cultural Expo

In the meeting with Lydia Koniordou, Luo Shugang said that, as important representatives of Chinese and Western Civilization, both China and Greece have rich historical accumulation and cultural resources. The cultural cooperation between the two countries have great potential and promising prospect. In recent years, the dramatic art exchange between the two countries is flourishing. It is hoped that the two sides will take the co-organizing of the "China-Greece Year of Cultural Exchanges and Cultural and Creative Industries Cooperation" as an opportunity to promote the comprehensive, lasting and in-depth development of Sino-Greek cultural relation.

After the meeting, the two sides jointly signed the "Memorandum of Understanding for Co-organizing the China-Greece Year of Cultural Exchanges and Cultural and Creative Industries Cooperation Between the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Hellenic Republic".
