Amazon launches English version of 'Happy Dreams'

Vice-President of Amazon China and General Manager of Kindle (China) Ai Boru said: “Belt and Road Initiative provides an important opportunity for Chinese culture to go global. Amazon wants to do our part to build a bridge for cultural exchanges between China and the West. Jia Pingwa is one of the most important and influential contemporary Chinese writers. So that we are honored to bring the English version of his book Happy Dreams to readers all around the world. We hope to introduce more excellent Chinese literary works to overseas readers.”
China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation has agreed to partner with Amazon. Both parties plan to offer more e-books in Chinese or related to Chinese culture on Amazon.com. Amazon has also planned to translate and publish 19 literary works of famous Chinese writers, including Jia Pingwa and Feng Tang.
