More than 200 delegates of parties from across the world visited the Beijing Exhibition Center on Friday where China's outstanding achievements over the past five years was highlighted.

The delegates visited the exhibition on the sidelines of the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-level Meeting, which lasts from Thursday to Sunday.

Khawla Ben Aicha, MP in the Tunisian Assembly of People's Representatives, told China Daily that everything at the exhibition was impressive because "we saw what China did in only five years and I think the most important thing is technological improvements".

She said technology is the most important thing in today's world because it represents the future and China is "powerful" and has this "future" in its hands.

Coming to China for the first time, she said she was really pleased by the visit.

"I'm discovering the country," she said. "It's not like what we see in TV or hear from news. Seeing things by ourselves is more impressive and convincing."

She added that she and her colleagues had visited other places in Beijing and would have a lot to explore during their visit.

"There are more places to visit because China has such an interesting culture and history that everybody should discover," she said.

Mentioning her expectations about the meeting, she said she hopes to improve the relationship between Tunisia and China. This, she said, includes the relationship between the political parties in Tunisia and the Communist Party of China, as "the workers' political party should be in the service of citizens and today in a globalized world, we should have the same stakes, same aims and we have to work together for a better world and better life for humanity."

Cristian Priboi, a delegate of the Social Democratic Party of Romania said he was impressed by the warmth they were greeted with and he was glad to be at the meeting.

"I'm also impressed by China's achievements and that you know how to communicate your achievements," he said, adding that he was particularly fascinated by Jiaolong, a manned submersible developed by China, which set a record by diving to a depth of more than 7,000 meters.

He also said his expectations about the meeting concerned the sharing of ideas and that he expects to learn from what China did to achieve and implement good governance.
