China's fixed-asset investment up 8.6% in H1

BEIJING — China's fixed-asset investment grew 8.6 percent year-on-year in the first six months of this year, down 0.6 percentage point from that recorded during the first quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.
