Livestreaming events aid graduates find jobs in Guangdong
About 70 livestreaming job fairs are expected to be held this year to help college graduates find their ideal jobs in South China's Guangdong province, China News Service reported on Wednesday.
The activities, hosted by representatives from companies and professional hosts, promote openings to college graduates and job seekers, facilitating precise online matching between job seekers and enterprises.
Launched on Wednesday, the events will employ multiple channels, comprehensive publicity, and advanced services to help companies find more outstanding professional and technical talents and assist graduates in finding high-quality employment channels, said Cheng Yougen, deputy inspector of Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province.
Since its inception in 2020, the Guangdong provincial livestreaming job fairs has covered multiple regions across the country, including Guangdong province, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and Guizhou province.
About 246 livestreaming events have been held, involving 2,073 companies, offering over 57,000 positions, receiving over 95,000 resumes, and facilitating employment intentions for 20,800 individuals.
In 2024, the event will continue to innovate its service model to help graduates and enterprises achieve zero-distance interaction through screen-to-screen connections via activities.
The launch event also featured representatives from seven high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises using special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products to interact with student representatives.
