Shanghai job fair offers opportunities to graduates

A job fair featured by recruitment from specialized and innovative enterprises kicked off at the Shanghai Polytechnic University on Saturday, reported thepaper.cn, on June 2.

The fair offered more than 12,000 jobs on site from over 300 employers, including 63 State-owned enterprises, 71 of the world's top 500 enterprises, 35 "specialized and innovative" enterprises and 116 high-tech enterprises.

Positions include those from key industries such as integrated circuit, biomedicine, artificial intelligence and more.

Meanwhile, 1,329 enterprises provided around 42,000 positions through online video and livestreaming recruitment.

More than 6,000 graduates participated in face-to-face interviews, and submitted over 40,000 resumes, with over 3,000 preliminary intentions reached, according to the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
